What we've been up too...

January is such a cold, boring month I think! Thank goodness it went by soo fast! Here's some of the things we've been up too to keep us entertained here in Kentucky.

Cameron....

Cameron's first Pinewood Derby! Cameron had a lot of fun making this car with his Mom and Dad. I think his car turned out pretty good for our first try at this. He was SO excited for this night and it really was fun. His car didn't win overall in the races, but he did get some 1st and 2nd's in the individual heat races so that made his day. AND he did get the "Fastest Looking Car" Award. He had a great time which is all that I cared about. Cub Scouts is so fun.
Kelsey cheering on her big brother at the race.
The anticipation of seeing if his car is going to win!
Cam with his car we called "White Lightning"
Waiting for his turn to race.

Kelsey...

Kelsey always has a plan for something to do...whether she's supposed to be doing it or not! When that girl puts her mind to something she WANTS to do...there is no stopping her. (The opposite is true...there is no getting her to do something she DOESN'T want to do). She was excited to shovel our driveway when it snowed. She did about half of it before it just got too cold! Today she took a bucket and washed our van in the garage to "suprise" me! She actually did a good job although she about froze to death, but again...she wanted to do it!

One of the BEST presents we got for Christmas was "Wiggle Carts" from our Grandma Despain. Our basement in unfinished so its been a big giant room to ride these carts around and race and Kelsey LOVES it. It's just what she needs to get some energy out when its cold outside. The whole neighborhood has been in our basement taking turns on the wiggle carts. They are awesome. Thank you Grandma--they've saved us this cold, cold January!
Wiggle Cart fun in the basement.

Working hard to shovel the snow!

Ellie...

Ellie has been keeping busy with wearing some styling outfits around the house. She wears a leotard pretty much all day long. She loves sneaking into my makeup and then wipes any she gets on her fingers all over my walls. I love being with her in the day when the kids are at school. She always wants me to play "pretend" with her where I'm supposed to talk like her friend thats getting married or "the girl from the village" (??) and is just so fun. The last few days she keeps asking me to look at pictures of her Aunt Stephanie's wedding and saying, "Ohhh, they're sooo in love." She also likes to say "Precisely".
Is this a styling outfit or what?
"I'm sooo posh" she says!
Ellie actually playing in the snow!! She usually doesn't want to because playing in the snow means you have to wear pants.
She "swept" our front driveway.

Isaac.....
He's been really busy these days. He had a rough week with RSV, but is doing better now. He still doesn't crawl on hand and knees, but does the fastest army crawl you've ever seen. It looks like he's swimming really. He's starting pulling himself up on everything and climbing! He climbed up to the top of our stairs today. The days where I can leave him in a room for a second are gone...he's getting all over the place and into stuff too much. He played in the snow for a few minutes till he face planted it in the snow and then he was done. He is such a sweet, sweet baby!!
Isaac pulls himself up to get to the piano keys...he loves it. He'll throw a tantrum if you take him away.
Isaac's few minutes in the snow...he reminds me of "Ralphie" (from "A Christmas Story") in his snow suit. He couldn't really put his arms down.
Believe it or not....he is slimming down a little bit but he still has those great rolls and rolls of sweetness at 29 pounds!!
He gets sooo excited that he can stand all on his own now!
Our handsome, smiley, sweet baby boy!
