Our babies are growing up! Cameron started kindergarten on August 13, 2007 (also Uncle Matt's b-day). He was an awesome, excited, lunch box carrying, backpack wearing, raise your hand, go to the library, school ANIMAL!! On his second day he had to pull a card though (that's a warning), but he doesn't know why he had to pull a card. Our theory is that the teacher is liberally dispensing justice at the beginning of the year to show everyone who is the boss, cause we all know that Cameron is an angel who rarely, if ever, deserves a warning of any kind about anything (winks all around). Cameron loves school, and loves to learn. He is really excited. Also, Ellie turned one year old. That was an eventful year, that went by quickly. She is still superchubby (as the pictures show), but she is also deceptively fast these days. She rolls, crawls, stands (sometimes all at once), and has even begun the most important developmental stage: temper tantrums. We love y'all (as they say in the Bluegrass), hope to hear from you.

Cameron it is alright. I had to pull many a cards in my day for no apparent reason. Also, if the teacher all of a suddens asks you to go sit in the corner with your face to the wall, know that it is merely an arbitrary power grab. You just continue right on pulling that girls pigtails.
Grandma Despain says that this is an awesome blog. Cameron you are getting to be such a grown up almost 6 year old. I can't believe that you are a full time student now. Study hard! Ellie, what a doll!! You look like you really enjoyed your birthday cake. It's a good thing your mom took off your clothes. Have a great week you guys!!!!
